How you can support the Shuswap Hospice Society
Thank you for supporting the work of the Shuswap Hospice Society. We have been providing compassionate care services to the Shuswap since 1986.
When you donate to the Shuswap Hospice Society, you will be helping to support the many programs and services provided by the Society in the many communities of the Shuswap. We invite you to support the work of the Society by making a donation via any of the methods below and/or becoming a member today.

We are grateful for your contributions and support, which allow us to extend our vital services throughout the Shuswap. Memorial Donations in Lieu of Flowers
Please mail Memorial donations in lieu of flowers to the Society. Memorial donations can be made by cheque, cash (in person at the Society Offices), or by credit card (online through CanadaHelps.org). Tax receipts are issued for all donations over $10.00.
In Memory: You may choose to honour the memory of a family member, friend or colleague by making an “In Memoriam” donation. Memorial gifts are a meaningful expression of your sympathy and respect in remembrance of family members and friends. We will send a letter on your behalf acknowledging your gift.
In Honour: An “In Honour” donation is a unique way to say congratulations, thank you, or best wishes. We have gifts donated for a birthday, wedding, holiday, work event and anniversary. We will send a letter to the honoured person on your behalf acknowledging your gift.
Bequests / Planned Giving
A bequest is a gift made through your will. When you write or revise your will, you may choose to make a bequest to the Shuswap Hospice Society, knowing that your gift will help a person with a terminal illness experience an added quality of life throughout their remaining days.

Corporate Fundraising
Shuswap Hospice Society has a committed fundraising team who are available to support you with your fundraising activities to provide a mutually beneficial relationship. Fundraising is a great way to show your employees that you care at the same time as uniting your team with one common aim of raising money for a good cause.
We have solid connections with local media and would endeavour to promote fundraising activities to gain awareness for both your company and the Shuswap Hospice Society. Please contact the Society’s Executive Director for more information on possible fundraising partnerships.
