Ongoing training and education is provided for the continuing support of all Hospice Volunteers.
Monthly volunteer support meetings
Monthly Volunteer Meetings are provided to support our volunteers. These meetings are held from 6:00 to 7:30 PM. the third Thursday of each month at the Society Offices. There are often Speakers on various relevant topics. As well, these meetings are great opportunities connect with and support each other.
Workshops and Seminars
Workshops and seminars, on a variety of topics, are provided periodically to volunteers to support ongoing volunteer development.
Volunteer Mentoring
New volunteers are mentored and supported by our Volunteer and Program Coordinator for a long as is necessary.
